Get Involved

All undergraduate and graduate students of any division of the Johns Hopkins University are welcome to join the group, but are required to sign up for Independent Study credits.  Project ideas can come from the mentors, from the professional teams the group works with, or from the students themselves.  Students can also request to join an existing student team to work on an on-going project.

Students should have a solid background in at least one of:

• Applied mathematics and statistics,
• Computer science (programming, web development, etc.)
• Data Science and Machine Learning.

Students should consult with their academic adviser prior to contacting the group regarding their eligibility for applying independent study credits toward their degree.
